Pittsburgh Shakespeare in the Parks provides free and accessible outdoor Shakespeare and classical theatre to the residents of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in public parks and outdoor spaces.  PSIP will reach audience members of all ages, races, and abilities, particularly targeting audiences who may not have previously had access to the arts. As a free outdoor Shakespeare company, Pittsburgh Shakespeare in the Parks will expand knowledge and appreciation of Shakespeare, develop and train actors in the milieus of classical and outdoor theatre, and foster the enjoyment of outdoor public spaces and parks.
