YMCA of Greensburg

The YMCA is dedicated to building a healthy spirit, mind and body of individuals and families. It puts Christian principles into practice through programs that promote good health, strong families, youth leadership, community development, and international understanding. The YMCA is a community service organization that is open to all ages, abilities and incomes and meets the health and social service needs of the family.

Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC): Our ECLC is a Keystone Stars 2 accredited facility, including a preschool program, designed to meet the developmental needs of children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. The Early Childhood Learning Center uses a method of instruction called Creative Curriculum to make learning exciting and relevant for every child. This method works to develop each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills. Before and After School Enrichment Program (BASE):The Greensburg YMCA recognizes the increased need for structured and convenient before and after school child care. Through qualified staff, we provide a positive environment of safety, support, and care within the Greensburg-Salem and Hempfield School Districts. The program is designed according to the YMCA philosophy of the development of spirit, mind, and body. We promote the YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
