St. Philip Conference of the Society of St. Vincent DePaul

A nonprofit organization

The St. Philip Conference of the Society of St. Vincent DePaul provides assistance to individuals and families in Crafton and its surrounding neighborhoods. We help with needs such as rent, utilities, basic appliances and furniture. Each month, our food bank volunteers deliver nutritious food directly to the homes of those we serve! We also deliver emergency food assistance to those in need who leave a message on our St. Vincent de Paul hotline: 412-444-8140. Thank you for considering a donation, and please pray for our volunteers and those we serve.

The St. Philip Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is vibrant and active in our local community. Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic lay organization, leads women and men to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering.

Members of the Society (known as Vincentians) witness to God's love by embracing works of charity and justice. The Society collaborates with other people of good will in relieving need, making no distinction among those served, because Vincentians see the face of Christ in every person. Vincentians perform their service confidentially to poor and needy families without regard to their religious affiliation (if any).

In addition to helping with rent, utilities, and other basic needs, we operate the St. Philip Food Pantry (a member agency of the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank), which specializes in delivering monthly food help to those who do not have reliable transportation with which to reach other local food banks. If you or anyone you know needs assistance, please call or text 412-444-8140, or email us at SVdP.Saint.Philip@gmail.com.
