We Serve the communities of Coraopolis, Moon Township, Neville Island, and Crescent Township in the West suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA.
Our meals are planned with careful attention to our client's nutritional needs and are delivered Monday through Friday. Daily "lunch bags" include fresh salad made daily, a piece of seasonal fruit, milk or yogurt, a sandwich, daily bread, and a treat. Hot meals are prepared from scratch in our kitchen daily under the guidance of a certified professional. Area farmers donate locally grown produce, which we are happy to incorporate into our meals.
We don't overlook the value of an occasional treat, like a fresh tomato in the summer, a valentine from a local brownie troop, or a miniature pumpkin at Halloween to help our clients stay connected to the community around them.
Volunteers prepare meals daily with the utmost care and devotion to ensure that our clients receive nutritious homemade meals. Another team of volunteers delivers meals daily to our clients and checks on their wellness and safety. A visit from a friendly volunteer may be the most valuable element of the program.
