Rainbow Kitchen Community Services is committed to improving the quality of life for low-income families and individuals through programs that address hunger, child nutrition and supportive services.

Rainbow Kitchen Community Services has been a strong and reliable source of assistance for people in need since 1984. Today, our help is needed more than ever! For those we serve, living at or below the poverty level, it is difficult to make ends meet in the best of times - especially for our elderly neighbors who are living on a low fixed income, and may never have the resources necessary to meet even their most basic needs and expenses.


Our Food Pantry Program has seen a significant and ongoing increase in participation since the beginning of the pandemic, and we are experiencing a new surge now, as the rising costs of food & other basic needs strike yet another blow to the low-income people we serve. Many of our newer clients are working people who find themselves in need of assistance for the first time because they can no longer afford to pay their bills and feed their families.


All of us at Rainbow Kitchen remain committed to maintaining the high level and quality of service we provide, even as the need for assistance continues to grow, and critical resources - including food and monetary donations - have been adversely affected by the back-to-back crises of
