The Trade Institute of Pittsburgh is a non-profit, tuition-free carpentry and masonry training program for men and women with significant barriers to employment. During this #ONEDAY Critical Needs Alert, you have the opportunity to support our students in getting to their NEXT!
I proudly joined the TIP team as staff in October 2024. TIP is so much more than a workforce development non-profit, TIP is really about human and holistic-development to support long-term success both career and life-wise. From our morning gratitude circles to our case management to our life skills classes to laying brick, and everything beyond and in between, TIP is providing the tools for each student to graduate feeling empowered and ready for their next step.
I feel both proud and lucky to be a part of the TIP team. In my work as the Case Manager, each day, I work individually with students to identify and overcome barriers, empowering them to achieve success in the skilled trades after graduation.
Today, I am excited to invite you to be a part of TIP! Your gift, no matter the size, will allow us to continue to be creative and bold in how we show up for our students and alumni.
