Fishes & Loaves Cooperative Ministries (FLCM).
FLCM incorporated in 2011 as a non-profit shopping service to bring healthy food to our neighbors in Hazelwood (Pittsburgh, PA) who found it difficult to get to a supermarket. In 2015 we adopted the local Meals on Wheels (operating since 1971) as they experienced financial difficulty; we also provided free lunches to those who asked. In 2018 we added Emergency Food Boxes to our list of projects, and in 2024 we added a "Free Food Fridge" to our porch so people could get food 24/7/365. In 2025 we provided over 40,000 meals to 343 people. In February 2025 we accepted control of the monthly Food Pantry previously supported by the local YMCA; we serve over 100 families each month through the Food Pantry.
We never charge for these services, and we rely on individuals, businesses, and foundations to support our work. Please join us!
