Together, we raised a record $1.67 million for basic needsThanks to your donations to our #ONEDAY Critical Needs online giving campaign on May 7, nearly 190 nonprofits in Allegheny in Westmoreland Counties got a little closer to the one day when everyone's basic needs in our community are met. With your help, we've raised a record-setting $1.67 million for food, housing, child care, physical and mental health care and transportation. This includes 3,750 donations from the public totalling $865,000 and an $800,000 incentive pool.
Since 2013, the Foundation's six Critical Needs Alerts have raised a total of $6.6 million, including incentive funds, for basic needs.
Small and Mighty

More than 2,400 people made contributions during the last Critical Needs Alert on May 1, 2018, which raised $1,122,492 for nonprofits in our region.
