A Call to Care, Inc. dba Mission of Mercy Pittsburgh works to improve access to essential oral and medical health care for individuals and families in the Pittsburgh region who are uninsured, underinsured or otherwise unable to obtain needed services. We evaluate community needs, mobilize health care professionals, community partners and volunteers to deliver free dental, hearing care and make other medical connections including vision services in welcoming and dignified environments. 

We seek to advance more equitable access to care by reducing financial, logistical and systemic barriers. 

We promote a greater understanding that oral health is inseparable from overall health. 

Services Provided

Dental - X-rays, Exams, Cleanings, Fillings, Select Root Canals, Extractions and partial prosthetics 

Hearing - Hearing evaluations, hearing aids, hearing aid fittings, trouble shooting and repair

Vision - Internal referrals to comprehensive vision care and glasses prescriptions, glasses 

Connecting patients to medical/dental homes and other community healthcare resources.

Mission of Mercy Pittsburgh is powered by dedicated volunteers but volunteerism alone does not sustain the programming we provide. Your financial support helps support our year round team, secures clinical equipment and supplies, contributes to essential systems for volunteer and patient coordination and makes it possible for us to maintain and expand our programming. Every financial contribution helps us turn donated time and expertise into essential care for those who need it most.
