Bethlehem Haven of Pittsburgh
About this Organization
Since 1981, Bethlehem Haven has provided lifesaving shelter, housing, and healthcare to some of Allegheny County's most vulnerable neighbors. As one of the region's first and longest-running emergency shelters for women and gender nonconforming individuals, we believe a safe, stable home is essential for mental and physical wellness and personal empowerment. Bethlehem Haven's continuum of care provides more than just shelter: we help those in need access the building blocks of stability, including health insurance, employment and housing assistance, and connections to medical and behavioral health specialists. Last year, 776 individuals received compassionate care through Bethlehem Haven's programs-including emergency shelter, permanent supportive housing, medical respite, nutritious meals, and wraparound behavioral health services.
