Bethlehem Haven's mission is to provide a continuum of care that leads to self-sufficiency for women and gender-nonconforming people experiencing homelessness. As part of Pittsburgh Mercy's Family of Care, we're dedicated to cultivating a community of healing and growth, where persons-served can feel safe, supported, and empowered on their life journeys.

Everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home, along with the building blocks to help them heal and grow. Yet too many women and gender-diverse individuals in our community live in unsafe, unhealthy, or unstable situations.

For more than 40 years, Bethlehem Haven has provided thousands of women across western Pennsylvania shelter while also connecting them to essential human services such as health insurance, employment, housing assistance, social security, and medical and behavioral health care. This life-changing work is only possible because of the generosity of you and the greater Pittsburgh community.

When we care for each other, we all grow stronger.
