Greater Hope Restoration Ministries Expands Access to Non-Traditional Childcare, Recovery Support, and Veterans Services in Carnegie
CARNEGIE, PA — Greater Hope Restoration Ministries (GHRM), led by Founder and Senior Pastor Dr. Cheryl Jones-Ross, is continuing to expand its impact throughout the Pittsburgh region through innovative faith-based programs focused on childcare, addiction recovery, veterans support, and community wellness.
Located at 528 East Main Street in Carnegie, GHRM has grown into a multi-service community ministry dedicated to restoring hope, strengthening families, and providing practical solutions to some of the region's most pressing challenges.
A cornerstone of the organization's work is The GHRM Center, a Pennsylvania Department of Human Services licensed childcare center that provides traditional and non-traditional childcare services for children from infancy through school age. Designed to support working families with demanding schedules, the center offers extended-hour childcare options that help parents employed in healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, public safety, and other shift-based professions maintain stable employment while ensuring their children receive quality care in a safe, nurturing environment.
In addition to childcare services, GHRM operates the Freedom Recovery Program, a faith-based recovery initiative that provides support, mentoring, education, and resource navigation for individuals and families affected by substance use disorders and related life challenges.
To further strengthen access to recovery and wellness services, GHRM proudly partners with Allegheny Health Network's Center for Inclusion, bringing vital healthcare, addiction treatment resources, behavioral health support, and community-based services directly into the communities that need them most.
The ministry also honors and supports those who have served our nation through MVP's Veterans Support Services Program. Through a growing partnership with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, veterans are connected with resources, support services, advocacy, and opportunities for fellowship and community engagement.
In support of whole-person wellness, GHRM has also partnered with UPMC's Health and Wellness Program to promote healthier lifestyles, preventive care, health education, and improved health outcomes among community residents.
"At Greater Hope Restoration Ministries, we believe that true restoration happens when people have access to the support they need spiritually, emotionally, physically, and socially," said Dr. Cheryl Jones-Ross, Founder and Senior Pastor. "Our partnerships allow us to bring critical services directly into the community while continuing to provide hope and practical assistance to families, individuals in recovery, and our veterans."
Since its founding in 2014, GHRM has served thousands of individuals through food distribution programs, youth development initiatives, recovery support services, family assistance programs, grief support ministries, and community outreach efforts. The organization remains committed to serving all people regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, income level, or life circumstances.
As Greater Hope Restoration Ministries continues to grow, the organization remains focused on building a stronger, healthier community through faith, collaboration, compassion, and service.
