At Macedonia FACE, we believe every person and family deserves the opportunity to thrive.

For decades, we have supported individuals and families across Pittsburgh’s Hill District, around the City of Pittsburgh, and throughout Allegheny County—helping them overcome barriers, build stability, and move toward brighter futures.

Originally founded as the social service outreach ministry of Macedonia Church of Pittsburgh, FACE is now a community based human service organization serving children, individuals, families and older adults each year through compassionate, relationship-based support.

Our services include:

• Emergency financial assistance to prevent eviction and utility shutoffs.
• Food support for individuals and families in need.
• Home-delivered meals and wellness checks for older adults.
• Programs that strengthen family stability and educational success
• Case management to help individuals living with HIV and individuals transition home from incarceration.

 Every service is rooted in the belief that lasting change happens through trusted relationships and personalized support.

Impact Numbers:

• 140 older adults engaged through the Senior Service Center
• 279 homebound seniors received home-delivered meals through Meals on Wheels
• 131 families received emergency financial assistance through Lifeline

• 353 families/participants supported through Family Conference and Teaming 

• 109 individuals served through Choice Neighborhood Initiative in the Hill District  

• 70 individuals living with HIV or transitioning home from incarceration supported through Ryan White

Together, these programs reached 1,082 unduplicated individuals and families across Allegheny County in program year 2025-2026.
