The principle goal of the McGuire Memorial Foundation is to provide present and future charitable resources for McGuire Memorial so that it will be able to continue to meet its mission of providing comprehensive services to people with mental and physical disabilities, which may include medical conditions, and offering support services to their families and caregivers. The School serves children from ages 3 to 21. The majority of the 88+ students are transported daily from their home districts throughout W. PA. Employment Option Center is a day program providing vocational training and school-to-work transition preparation for adults with mild to moderate disabilities. Life Enrichment Center offers adults with profound disabilities (and medical fragility) with opportunities to enhance their communication skills and interpersonal relationships where they can experience life to the fullest. Community Home Program enables 58 individuals to live in residential homes supervised by highly prepared staff who provide 24-hour-a-day medical, physical, and behavioral support. Intermediate Care Facility serves as home for 81 children and adults with severe and multiple disabilities.
