Naomi's Place Transitional Housing Inc.

About this Organization

According to the Department of Health and Human Services over 19 million households in America pay more than 30 percent of their income in rent. Many do not have the income to even secure an affordable home at this percentage rate. This rate is generally higher for women of color.

Housing insecurity has become a standard in our region for young women of color and their children. Naomi's Place provides livable and secure living conditions for five women and their young child. We partner with other agencies to secure permanent housing after a two-year period.

Housing costs are skyrocketing in one of the most livable cities in America. However, for the underserved, incomes and available properties are not keeping up with the demand. Naomi's Place has positioned itself to help with ongoing housing crisis.
