Ronald McDonald House Pittsburgh Morgantown

A nonprofit organization

Ronald McDonald House Pittsburgh Morgantown is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of children. This is why we provide the opportunity for families to be by their child’s bedside as they face life-saving medical situations. We know that keeping families together is better for everyone.

During the most difficult times in a child's medical journey, the Ronald McDonald House Pittsburgh Morgantown has been there to provide families with a comfortable place to stay close to the care they need, and access to pediatric healthcare in their own neighborhood. We know what it means to be a "light in a dark place" and we continue to be responsive to the changing needs of our families.

Ronald McDonald House Pittsburgh Morgantown partners with UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh to provide the Ronald McDonald House Care Mobile, a 40-foot vehicle designed and built specifically for the delivery of pediatric health care. The state-of-the-art vehicle brings vital medical services to underserved communities in Allegheny and surrounding counties. Pediatricians, nurses, nurse practitioners and respiratory therapists from UPMC Children’s Hospital provide medical care to children who are unable to visit the doctor regularly. The Ronald McDonald House Care Mobile provides services to nearly 1,000 patients per year. The Ronald McDonald House Care Mobile is supported in part by generous contributions listed on this page and others.
