Roots of Faith Inc

Roots of Faith is a community-based nonprofit committed to helping individuals and families in Sharpsburg and surrounding communities build stronger, healthier, and more stable lives. We meet people where they are—providing food, hot meals, supportive services, community clinics, wellness programs, and meaningful connections through initiatives like our Community Resilience Project and Neighborhood Table.

But our work goes beyond meeting immediate needs. We believe every person deserves the opportunity to thrive, and we work to address the barriers that stand in the way of long-term stability, including poverty, food insecurity, housing challenges, and limited access to resources and opportunity.

As part of this commitment, Roots of Faith is launching Roots to Home, a new affordable housing initiative that will create safe, quality, affordable homes connected to supportive services. Our goal is to help families achieve greater stability while creating pathways to opportunity and a stronger future for their children.

Together with our community, partners, volunteers, and donors, we are building a place where people feel supported, connected, and valued—and where every investment in our neighbors helps create a stronger future for generations to come.
