Bella Terra Stables' mission is to strengthen and nurture children, families, and communities through the healing power of horses, nature, and meaningful human connection.

We provide equine-assisted mental health, wellness, and educational programs that help individuals build resilience, develop healthy relationships, navigate life's challenges, and discover new paths forward. Using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches, including the Equine-Assisted EMDR protocol, psychotherapy, and experiential learning, we create opportunities for healing and growth that often reach people in ways traditional settings cannot.

What makes Bella Terra Stables unique is that we don't just wait for people to come to us; we bring our horses directly into schools and communities, ensuring that children, families, and underserved populations can access support regardless of transportation, financial, or geographic barriers. Through partnerships with local school districts, community organizations, and crisis response efforts, our horses are helping young people manage anxiety, process grief and trauma, strengthen emotional regulation, and build confidence both on our farm and in the communities where they live and learn.

At the heart of this work are our retired and rescued therapy horses. Once overlooked or no longer able to serve in traditional roles, they now provide something even more powerful: hope, connection, and healing. Their gentle presence helps people feel safe, seen, and understood, creating transformative moments that can change the trajectory of a life.
