Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh is a nonprofit that provides decent, affordable homeownership and home repair opportunities for low-income families in Allegheny County. Our mission is to bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope in Allegheny County. Our vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to call home. 

Habitat homebuyers complete 350 hours of sweat equity, volunteering on Habitat Pittsburgh's construction site and completing financial literacy and homeownership training. Habitat Pittsburgh homes are sold with a 30-year, no-interest mortgage. Our homeowners include single mothers, families with disabled individuals, veterans, senior citizens, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse.
