Onala Recovery Center

About this Organization

Onala was founded as a social club for members of Alcoholics Anonymous in 1952. What was once a small, private club is now a full-service public resource center for individuals and families impacted by substance use conditions. Onala is one of the oldest and largest facilities of its kind on the East Coast, providing a community space where individuals and their loved ones can find resources, support, and fellowship. We offer a safe, inclusive environment centered around peer-to-peer recovery. Our facility is open every day and is centrally located in Pittsburgh's West End near the Duquesne Incline along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail and a dozen bus lines.
