Since its founding in 2022, Outside The Borders Inc. has impacted over 2,000 Hispanic and Latino survivors of domestic and sexual violence across the U.S. and its territories. Through Rompamos El Silencio, we offer online support groups, legal and mental health referrals, and empowerment workshops-all fully in Spanish. We host onsite and virtual conferences and training focused on resilience, healing, and justice. Our Youth Leadership Program equips Latino teens with tools for advocacy and self-esteem. We maintain strong partnerships with local organizations to expand access and provide housing and safety resources. With donated technology like laptops and tablets, participants connect from home to vital support. We remain the only Westmoreland County nonprofit offering these services exclusively in Spanish-no interpreters-because mental health does not translate.
