Project Destiny, Inc., founded in 2004 by Rev. Dr. Brenda J. Gregg, serves at-risk youth and families in Northside Pittsburgh's predominantly African American communities. This area, comprising 18 neighborhoods, faces significant challenges related to poverty and violence.

Since its founding, the organization has expanded to provide comprehensive services for Northside residents from infancy through adulthood. Project Destiny is committed to offering unique, eye-opening experiences that foster growth and resilience among youth of all ages.

Key initiatives include early learning centers that care for children from six weeks old until kindergarten, providing age-appropriate activities that build a foundation for academic success. The organization also runs a seven-week summer camp offering a safe, enriching environment for children during school breaks. Project Destiny's holistic approach addresses the diverse needs of the Northside community, creating pathways to success for generations of residents who face systemic challenges.
