Vincentian Collaborative System

Vincentian has humbly and proudly served as a sanctuary of care and compassion for those most in need in the Pittsburgh community for over a century, establishing a caregiving refuge for those who could not care for themselves. 

Giving to Vincentian means giving to a 100-year-old nonprofit organization dedicated to caring for the most vulnerable in our Pittsburgh community. Since our Sisters opened the doors of the Holy Rosary Cottage at what is now Vincentian Home in 1924, Vincentian has embraced a “share everything; keep nothing” philosophy, running to the needs of others as our namesake St. Vincent taught, to “do what is before you.”

Since 2020, Vincentian has delivered over $44 million in uncompensated benevolent care, depleting decades of precious reserve funds to care for older adults who needed care during the pandemic and in the years to follow. Despite the financial challenges, Vincentian has remained committed to our vital mission. 

Vincentian remains committed to caring for the community's most vulnerable, but now more than ever needs support to ensure the continuation of its fearlessly compassionate mission.
