Giving to Vincentian means giving to a 102-year-old nonprofit dedicated to caring for the most vulnerable within the Pittsburgh community. Nearly all donations go immediately to support the care of vulnerable older adults requiring long-term skilled nursing care. Vincentian has humbly and proudly served as a sanctuary of care and compassion for those most in need for over a century, establishing a caregiving refuge for those who could not care for themselves.
Since the pandemic, Vincentian has delivered over $60 million in uncompensated benevolent care, fearlessly delivering compassionate care for those in need despite the financial impact.
Please give now to support those in need today. Every dollar makes a difference and enables Vincentian to deliver one more day of compassionate care to those in our community who need it most.
Vincentian cares for people from infants to centenarians, and everyone in between. A continuum of care for older adults including independent living, personal care, memory care, short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing are offered in addition to childcare. Vincentian also operates the Unconventional Kitchen, a catering and bakery line open to the public that invites customers to "Eat well; give back."
Committed to bringing generations together to combat loneliness and social isolation, Vincentian is a recognized industry leader in intergenerational practices and programs. Whether it is welcoming college students to live alongside older adults within two Vincentian campuses, partnering with local universities for medical school and capstone programs, or pairing childcare students with older adults for a summer of gardening sessions, Vincentian is dedicated to building connections. Vincentian believes Because everyone has something to contribute and a need to connect with others, regardless of age.
"I'm writing about the miracle of love. My family is in awe of the loving and caring treatment my mother receives from the staff. She thrives with this care and the result is peace and contentment."
