About this Organization

WCA has 30 programs addressing the entire life cycle. From Early Childhood Education: Head Start, Early Head Start, and Pre-K Counts to Mental Health Programs: Crisis Hotline, Crisis Mobile, New Foundations, and Permanent Supportive Housing; Emergency Services: Emergency Food Pantry and Energy Assistance; Community Services and Housing Programs, Neighborhood Revitalization, and Keystone Hope Development, LLC; Recovery supports such as Recovery Employment Partnership and Recovery Housing Navigation; Financial Services: Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA). We fill in the gaps left by government assistance. Sometimes all a person needs to prevent a downward spiral is a car repair. When a person is living paycheck to paycheck, just making ends meet, and suddenly their car breaks down they stop going to work or school. At first an employer may be understanding. But eventually the person loses their job which leads to late rent payments and inevitably eviction. What if an organization paid for that car repair? That's where WCA steps in. we prevent job loss and eviction by paying for a car repair....and so much more.
