In 2017 Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania (PPWP) saved my life. I had just started my consulting business and didn't have insurance. I knew something was wrong. PPWP was the only place that would see me without insurance.

At my appointment they confirmed my fears. Then they stepped in to help. They helped me find affordable insurance. They helped me make appointments with specialists - all the administrative tasks that were overwhelming.

They were kind, gentle, and professional. They treated me like it was an honor to serve me in a vulnerable moment.

Now, I'm excited to give back by serving on the board of directors and helping to fundraise so other people can have access to the health care I did.
