The Trade Institute of Pittsburgh (TIP) is a non-profit, tuition-free carpentry and masonry training program for men and women with significant barriers to employment. During this #ONEDAY Critical Needs Alert, you have the opportunity to support our students in getting to their NEXT!
It's been a little over a year since I started working at TIP and it has been a wonderful experience. Everyday, I work with people who are passionate and dedicated to contributing meaningfully to our community. They were also a big help in achieving a personal milestone: obtaining a driver's license after 2 or 3 attempts in the past (I still can't believe it🥲).
Today, I am excited to invite you to be a part of TIP's #ONEDAY campaign! Your gift, no matter the size, will allow us to continue to be creative and bold in how we show up for our students and alumni. For example:
$25 - Provides a student with a 7-day bus pass to ensure they can get to and from TIP each day.
$50 - Covers the fees for an initial PA driver's learner's permit.
$125 - Provides a graduate with a full tool belt to start their first day on the right foot.
