Hello friends and family! As most of you know, I have been working at the Spencer YMCA for 10 years. What you may not know is all the exciting work we do at the Y. As a nonprofit, we are committed to making sure that everyone has access to our memberships and programs, regardless of their ability to pay. Each year, our Association is able to give out hundreds of thousands of dollars in financial support to those who need it most. I’ve seen the impact that this support can make in the lives of children, families, and seniors. Next week we are conducting our Giving Tuesday campaign, where we are hoping to raise even more money to expand our programs and help more families.

The YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh works side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. We know that lasting personal and social change comes about when we all work together. That's why, at the Y, strengthening the community is our cause.
