As the Board Chair for the Sampson Family YMCA, the Critical Needs Alert Day is meaningful to me because I want to help our branch reach our Annual Campaign Goal of $115,000. My goal represents the cost of one participant in our amazing Livestrong Cancer Survivor Group that takes place at our Branch.

The YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh works side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. We know that lasting personal and social change comes about when we all work together. That's why, at the Y, strengthening the community is our cause.
