At Brookline Sprouts, we serve children ages 3 through 6th grade in our Pre-K and school-age care programs. Over 75% of our students come from low-income households. We provide education, meals, and a safe, enriching space where every child can thrive. For older children, we're open before and after school, during most in-service days, and over the summer, so families can work and children can be supported, even when school is out. For preschoolers, we focus on kindergarten readiness and social emotional health. State subsidies help many families, but the reimbursement caps fall short of covering the true cost of quality care. Large expenses like curriculum upgrades or replacing a broken furnace often go unfunded. Donations help us close that gap, ensuring we can maintain safe classrooms, offer enriching experiences, and invest in long-term sustainability.
