Lighthouse Memorial Christian Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that has operated for over 20 years and has been a vital community resource. We operate an after-school and summer program which runs annually. With our after-school program, we pick up the children from school using our passenger van which is handicap equipped with a ramp. We bring them to our facility, feed them a hot, healthy meal and then continue with their educational needs by utilizing the STEAM program. The meals are prepared in our commercial kitchen by a dedicated chef. At the conclusion of the day, we safely bring them back to their doorsteps. During the school year, we generally have 40-60 students in this program. For our Summer Program, we usually have 60-80 children attending. s in our After School Program, the Summer Programs picks up the children and transports them to our facility. The Summer Program is structured around social skills, education, arts, science, and music. The children often have educational field trips and outdoor events.
